Sproutopia was born from a simple but powerful idea: that nature has the ability to bring beauty, calm, and joy into everyday life. It started as just a small sprout of a dream, rooted in a genuine love of all things green.

Hi, I'm Jacqui, and plants are kind of my thing.

It all began in central Scotland, of all places, where snow covered the ground and greenery was hard to come by. Rather than accept it, I decided to grow something anyway. Snow peas came first, then clematis, then a full succulent and heather rockery that seemed to appear almost overnight. Once the growing bug bites, there's no going back.

Nearly two decades on, that passion is stronger than ever. I still get a genuine kick out of propagating, taking what others might see as pruning scraps and turning them into hundreds of thriving new plants. Watching them come to life is one of life's quiet pleasures, and one I never take for granted.

My mission with Sproutopia is simple: to share that feeling with you. Because whether you have a sprawling garden or a single sunny windowsill, a plant has the power to help you slow down, reset, and reconnect with something real.
